Akua Uhane Noho - Spirits Within Us.
Uhane Noho represents shamanic knowledge about the world of spirits in Hawaiian traditions. On Hawaii, spirits are treated
with great respect. Shamans are able to recognize and communicate with many types of spirits in appropriate ways.
Kahunas know that the distinction between the Living and the Dead is very important for the health of living people . Special rituals were
always performed so that the spirit could rest in peace. In an important moment in life, Kahunas would perform rituals for communicating with important spirits.
One of the most important abilities of Kahunas was to perform practices in order to cleanse the 'family space' from the spirits of those whose body had died.
This ritual's purpose was to create peace and harmony for children in the family.
Any traumatic death (such as abortions and suicide) are recommended by Hawaiian shamans to be treated with the highest degree of attention. The more we
heal the relationship with spirits, the better for the living - says an old Kahuna.

4. Perform life healing projects
5. Learn Hawaiian healing chants
Training Hawaiian Shamanism Teawaitu include 3-day workshops in eleven weekends - total 33 days of training.
