Interview with T.Pomaikai Mocna - "Path toward teaching shamanic traditions"How my path though shamanic realities started? Thought the challenge of disease, which was very traumatic experience. Suffering motivated my to reach for solutions, which have not be available in clasical medicine. When I was 5 years old, I was told, I will never be healthy. I never agreed with this statement. I stareted reseaching all possible paths of healing, with deep trust, that solutions exists, just modern medicine did not acceptem them yet. When other children were playing, I was reading hundrets of books and practicing as much as I could alone - yoga, later bioenergy, reiki, qigong and chinese medicine. In age of 19, symptoms of disease disapeared. My researches did not stopped, but changed the direction. Instead to heal myself, I wanted to find explanation to my sudden healing, so that it could be applied for other people. It was 1982, my first meeting with Hawaiian shamanism. In M.F.Long books, from today's perspective is not more than 10% of original Hawaiian knowledge, but these books gave me insight, what can be the structure of a healing process. I started practicing and researching more. In meantime after years of studying chinese medicine alone and on trainings for doctors, organized by prof. Garnuszewski in Warsaw, Poland, I was asked to teach chinese medicine theory and practice in Psychotronic Univeristy in Warsaw in years 1992 - 1994. From 1993 started cooperation with such great people as Radek Araszkiewicz, Pati Tamang , Marcin Hawryszko and dr Igor Zielinski. We created team and build Center of Natural Medicine Healing Center Deesis in Warsaw. I was sharing my researes in healing from Hawaiian & Eastern cultures. We served our skills from different areas of expertise - together trying to make our practice holistic for our clients and friends. Many great experiences come from that time together. In 1994 came to Poland Welsch NLP teacher, Martyn Carruthers. I wanted to compare my experiences and practice with information which he brought from Hawaii. His Huna workshops were sweat and hipnotic. I and Martyn started to live and work together. My idea was to deepen the understanding of shamanic realities for helping to heal problems, which modern medicine cannot resolve. I stopped for that time my own practice and teaching, helping Martyn to establish himself in Poland and East Europe. It came out, that in Martyn's teaching Hawaiian wisdom was mixed with his NLP skills, which Martyn decided to strengten more and more in years. But shamanic reality and Hawaiian values do not go in the same direction as NLP (altought NLP came in it's roots from researches of a great humanist Alfred Korzybski, his name and his high values become "forgotten")... Tausends of hours were spend for claryfying what are really Hawaiian traditions, what is modern New Age and NLP in Tad James's Huna, which Martyn brought to Europe. Most of conclusions were included in Martyn's articles, later in his teaching. After separating from Martyn my private and professional life, I continued researching Hawaiian, Tibetan and Aftican shamanism. On Hawaii work contined with Kahuna Ho'oponopono, Aunty Mona Kahele. Aunty had an unique insight into relationships with strong sense of healthy behaviours. She was the one who helped me to learn to see toxic, psychotic behaviours and avoid them, even and especially if they are covered with sweat, loving "cover". She was deeply grounded in a healthy way, helping others with no personal gains for it. In meantime I finished the University with MA degree in Systemic Management. My idea was to develop educational programs for organisations. I worked in international company Polymark for 6 years, gaining the experience how the cross-cultural relationships in international organizations works. I was sharing my experiences and researches as one of Key Speakers on Intenrational Women Enterpreneurs Conference in Brunnen, Swizlerland, 2006. Educational programs for organisations, which I wrote, were used for improving team cooperation in such companies as Helwett Packard, Londomsam Englad, Sanborn Youghts International Camp in Colorado as well in individual consultations for managers, directors in Europe and US. I believe in cooperation of two worlds, of western organizations and shamanic realities. To exist in both realities helps me developing flexibility and openess. In researching cultures my focuse become more concentrated on studying Hawaiian as well Tibetan and African shamanism. When time and space aloud, I am traveling to many counties, talking to people, reading hand written documents in Polynesian archives, collecting more details for answering the questions, what can bring to the modern world shamanic traditions. The results came in series of workshops and expedition which are designed to open the conciounness for a different perspectives. Today we have more than 400 people who build our Ohana, with whom I share my experience in healing psychosomatical symptoms and relationships. My early life experiences gave me deep inside into healing process. Hawaiian, Tibetan and Africal shamans add to this experience the explanations, which I dedicated my life to share with people. In last years I & Krzysztof Banaszkiewicz invited Hawaiian Hula teachers, Auntie Raylene Lancaster and Auntie Hope Keawe to share with us their great knowledge about Hula traditions. Today we take care to keep the flame of passion to Hula with Grazynka Jasiota in Poland, Czech Republik, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. Ho'oponopono are using today in their professional practice and as a way to help friends and families - in Poland Basia Kaczmarczyk, Joasia Liss, Grazynka Pierscinska, Krysia Babraj, in Czech Republik Helenka Havrankova, Jarmila Cerna, Martin Meloun, Tomas Novak, in Slovakia Maria Gajdosova and Vladimir Cervenak, in Romania Ioana Ghitescu and Edhium Ismail in Hungary Gyorgyi Gergely, in Germany Agnieszka Nyszler and many more people all over the world. I am deeply grateful to many people, who I met on my path. Special Mahalo to Edghium Ismail, Maria Cutoi, Ilie & Anca Lazarescu, Grazynka & Slawek Jasiota, Joasia Liss, Basia Kaczmarczyk, Beatka Szafranska, Beatka Topolewska, Darek i Jola Mitura, Justyna i Piotrek, Zdenka Dukova, Ewa & Willi Stanik, Oana Braga, Ioana & Wincent, Maria i Zuzanka, Zuzana i Ivo, Wladomir Cervenak, Xenia Chalasova, Mirka Kania, Krystyna Goik, Grzegorz i Małgosia Domanscy, Mirka Kania and many other friends and teachers and my children, for their values and sharing their life and experiences.
